The 4A's educates agencies about Marketing Procurement

The 4A's is working hard to help advertising executives better understand the discipline of Marketing Procurement.

This event, below is an example of their efforts:

They are not going away. Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Sourcing -- whatever the function is called, these professional buyers are a force to be dealt with in the marketing services industry.

The 4A's has partnered with Ark Advisors and its procurement expert Gerry Preece to sponsor an executive workshop, "Engaging Procurement: Insights to Help You Strategically Engage With Marketing Procurement" on Aug. 11 in Los Angeles, for marketing services agency management teams. This efficient (6 hours -- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), affordable ($300 per attendee) and convenient (8 minutes from LAX) workshop is geared for interdisciplinary agency management teams. The 4A's recommends multiple participants from key functions, e.g., Management, Client Service, Finance, Operations, etc., attend the workshop as an agency team.

Marketing procurement has assumed a significant role in agency selection, contract and compensation negotiations, subcontractor (vendor) authorization, as well as agency relationship management. This 4A's/Ark Advisors workshop will help your agency understand the "buyer's" perspective. You will learn how to become a better "seller" of marketing services by having a more accurate understanding of how procurement works, who procurement is and their underlying motivations. You will even learn how to speak "procurement." Learn more about this event and register online at the 4A's website.
